“I am happy with myself” Erasmus+ project

First Mobility in Adana, Turkey

The first days of activities in the „I am happy with myself” Erasmus+ project, together with the partners from Belgium, Germany, Turkey and Lithuania started with the teams coming together at our host school and getting to know each other. It was an interesting day because we were excited to meet our partners and the students were also very eager to see their new friends.

On the second day of the Erasmus+ project „I am happy with myself”we visited a cooperative which aims at helping women by teaching them different trades, like water transfer painting, carving, weaving. The children and teachers participated in workshops, we met with the major of Adana and then we evaluated the activities. We also went to the Adana Chamber of Commerce, where we met with some women entrepreneurs, whose work also focuses on helping women from rural areas, amongst other things. The children worked together to create an activity plan.

On our third day of the project we visited a farming cooperative for women, where children had the chance to talk with them, find out about their life and their work. They also visited the cooperative’s citrus orchard and learned how to cook a traditional dish. At the end, we all enjoyed a meal together, made by our wonderful hosts.

The last day of the Erasmus+ project „I am happy with myself” had the dissemination of the children’s business plans that they’ve worked on all week and also their impressions and feelings during the four days of activities and visits. The teachers discussed the plans for the future mobilities and other activities and then everyone received their certificate of participation, after which came the farewell party.

Prima Mobilitate în Adana, Turkey

Prima zi de activități ale proiectului”I am happy withmyself”, împreună cu partenerii noștri din Turcia, Germania, Lituania și Belgia, a debutat cu întâlnirea echipelor în cadrul școlii-gazdă și cu legarea primelor prietenii. A fost o zi interesantă deoarece cu toții eram nerăbdători să ne cunoaștem viitorii parteneri și, de ce nu, prieteni.

În cea de-a doua zi a proiectului am vizitat o cooperativă al cărei scop este să ajute femeile prin reorientare profesională, mai precis învățându-le diverse meșteșuguri, precum EBRU (pictură pe apă), țesut, sculptat etc. Am participat cu toții la diverse ateliere, am avut o întrevedere cu primarul din Adana, orașul-gazdă, iar apoi am evaluat activitățile zilei. În final am vizitat Camera de Comerț din Adana, unde am stat de vorbă cu mai multe femei antreprenor și am aflat câte ceva despre activitățile lor.

În cea de-a treia zi de proiect am vizitat o cooperativă agricolă pentru femei, unde copiii au avut prilejul să stea de vorbă cu femeile care locuiesc și lucrează acolo, să afle puțin despre munca și modul lor de viață. Am vizitat de asemenea o livadă de citrice și am participat la gătirea unor produse tradiționale, iar la final am mâncat împreună cu gazdele noastre minunate.

În ultima zi de proiect copiii au prezentat un plan de afaceri la care au lucrat toată săptămâna pe echipe, dar și impresiile lor despre activitățile la care au luat parte. Profesorii au avut o ultimă întâlnire de proiect, în care s-au pus la punct detaliile următoarelor mobilități, dar și planul general de activități al proiectului, apoi, după ceremonia de acordare a certificatelor de participare, a urmat petrecerea de bun-rămas.
